In today’s event Dell India launched two Android phones. These devices are first by Dell launched in India, however ZTE is the original manufacturer.
Thanks to AndroidOS.in for exploring out the original OEM of the devices. Dell XCD28 is ZTE Racer, while Dell XCD35 is ZTE Blade which haven’t been launched anywhere. Both are powered by Android 2.1.
XCD35 is a device you must look out for, priced at Rs. 16,990. It’ll be releasing in December. It’s got 600MHz processor, 512MB RAM, 480 x 800 WVGA / 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display (we aren’t sure if it’s AMOLED like ZTE Blade,) Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi b/g, 3.5G data connectivity, GPS, 3.2 AF camera.
XCD28 is priced at Rs. 10,990 and is in market. This, is also powered by 600MHz CPU, 134MB RAM, 240 x 320 QVGA / 2.8 inch resistive touchscreen display, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi b/g, 3.5G data connectivity, 3.2 AF camera.
Specs aren’t much similar to the original ZTE phones. We’ve attached catalogs of both handsets down, have a look. Anyway, note this: Dell India have just stepped in the Indian mobile phone market! Let’s see how their “accordingly” “planned” things goes in the market.
