    Shangai based Spreadtrum Communications recently introduced two system-on-chips codenamed SC8810 and SC6820 – both clocking at 1Ghz frequency. These single-cored chips are based on ARM Cortex A5 architecture and delivers lower power consumption than ARM-11 and Cortex A9 processors. For graphics, both SoC is said to have Mali GPU inside.
