  • TRAI proposed to lower interconnection call tariff for telecom operators – Rs. 0.10/minute tariff by next year

    This sounds pretty cool, especially for new telecom operators who have smaller subscriber base. TRAI submitted a suggestion to the Supreme Court on 31st October on reducing interconnection tariff for telcos from Rs. 0.20 per minute to Rs. 0.10 per minute next year, and Rs. 0.05 per minute in 2013. And ultimately removing the tariff completely in 2014...
