• Microsoft “temporarily” holds publishing new apps in WP Marketplace – for a bug that is preventing installations

Guys from Windows Phone Blog reports that Windows Phone users are unable to install a “small” number of apps from Marketplace, especially on the devices that’s been upgraded from previous WP version to Mango. Although devices with pre-installed Windows Phone 7.5 Mango aren’t affected. It’s a bug – “an issue with the digital certificates used to sign apps.”

Notably, among those small number of apps, some well-known names are WhatsApp, New York Times, and Bing Translator. Guys from Windows Phone are already in work to fix the issue, and in order to prevent the increasing number of new apps (with signing issue) in the list, the team has halted new apps from being published in Marketplace, till the issue is resolved.
