Micromax launched Superfone A84 Elite at Rs. 10k – a Ghz of goodness inside

Micromax added a new phone in the line of its Superfone series – A84 Elite. It’s an affordable handset featuring 1 Ghz of silicon inside. All we know about the phone till now is that it’s got all the connectivity awesomeness like 3G, Wi-Fi ‘n’ and Bluetooth 2.1. It’s got IPS display measuring 4 inch (WVGA). A 5MP cam with LED flash at back, 0.3MP front camera, GPS, 32GB expandable memory, 1630mAh battery, Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread – well that’s all we can tell you about Elite right now. And ofcourse, the phone is tagged for Rs. 9,999.

One funny thing we noted on the product webpage is that the illustrated phones displayed shows 2 network icons on the notification bar, although the specs says nothing about dual-SIM feature. We’ve asked Micromax for confirmation.

Update 13/08/2012: It’s a dual-SIM handset.
