  • Apple in talks with The Fancy, a social commerce website for acquisition

Business Insider reports that Apple is to buy a social commerce site. The Fancy is a magazine/blog styled part store and wish list – a social network wherein users can talk about, share stuff and could also buy them. Apple’s part of operational plan is so said to have its 400 million iTune accounts with credit cards registered to do the good for the social commerce site and its own. BI reported everything with an unbiased ending…

“There is no signed deal and no guarantee one will happen. We do not know the price Apple has proposed to pay for The Fancy or how recently talks took place.”

    – an excerpt from Business Insider report.

The report might be based on investigations after Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO met The Fancy’s CEO Joe Einhorn at the Sun Valley conference.
