Sony launched α37 in India – touts 7fps continuous shooting

Successor of the α35 has finally arrived in India. Sony India updated its social network accounts with the launch info of the new (A-mount) DSLR in the line-up, α37. The camera bears 16.1 MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor. The best thing that have been put up is that it’s capable of 7 fps continuous shooting (that’s significantly more than that of Nikon D3200 or Canon 550D in the price range) along with full time continuous auto focus. There’s also a newly upgraded electronic viewfinder added in α37. And of course the camera’s backed by Translucent Mirror Technology – provides really “predictive focus for moving subjects” at full HD recording.

Sony α37 (18-55mm lens) is on retail shelves with Rs. 35,990 tag. We’re not sure about the kit with 18-135mm lens, however we’ll be soon update the post with some more confirmation.
