Apple and Samsung CEOs meeting for mediation over patent litigation

Reuters comes out with reports that executives of Apple and Samsung are summoned by federal judge of United States of A for mediation. Scheduled at San Fransisco courthouse in front of mediator Judge Joseph Spero on 21st and 22nd May, the two companies could end up the long trailing patent dispute between them through direct negotiations.
“… there is still a big gap in the patent war with Apple but we still have several negotiation options including cross-licensing”
– that was from Sammy’s head of mobile division JK Shin.
Apple had previously claimed that they approached Samsung 4 times in 2010 for negotiations regarding patent litigation. Not sure if things could go positive in the meeting but at least Samsung has thought about resolving it through their several negotiation options including cross-licensing. We’ll see what the mediation could do for the two, hit the source for complete reports.
