Samsung starts producing Ultra High Speed microSD cards, made for LTE devices

Samsung announced that it has started mass producing 16GB UHS-1 microSD cards. The card is intended to favor LTE smartphones and tablets. UHS-1 was introduced back in 2010 by SD Association for SDXC and SDHC cards, Sammy’s the first to roll out the production of UHS-1 based micro-SD card. The “maximum sequential read speeds” of the card is said to be 80MB/s – that’s certainly great for high quality media playback and so. Samsung will be releasing UHS-1 microSD card later this year. With the release, Samsung’s probably going to put up new UHS-1 compatible devices on retail shelves.
