Samsung chairman has been sued again, this time by his nephew’s family

Samsung’s chairman Lee Kun-hee has been dragged in an inheritance lawsuit filed by his nephew’s family. According to the report from Yonhap News, his nephew’s that is late Lee Jae-chan’s wife has filed a suit demanding 454,847 shares in Samsung Life Insurance Co., 100 Samsung Life stocks, 10 preferred as well as common stocks in Samsung Electronics and 100 million won cash ( ~ $88k US). Her sons on the other hand, are asking for 300,231 shares in Samsung Life Insurance Co., 100 Samsung Life stocks and 10 preferred and 10 common Samsung Electronic stock.
Those who filed the suit claimed that Lee Kun-hee has seized majority of Samsung’s shares under him after the death of his father Lee Byung-chull who founded the company. Hit the source for more coverage.
