Mumbai BlackBerry users can now be spied by Indian Government

RIM finally set up a facility for government to peek into Mumbai BB users’ conversations, only if the user is under surveillance. RIM won’t pass the details unless government has a legal warrant against the user. This is indeed a good solution decided (fair enough for everybody – users, government and RIM) but government wants more satisfying solution. Perhaps they want to spy without giving surveillance’s details to RIM. This is what they have been demanding from the beginning.
