Orkut blocking change of birth date after 7th April

Did you login to your Orkut account (if you still have one) and saw a message like the one shown in the image below?

The thing says the story – Google wants to consolidate the birth date data on its other products like YouTube, Google Profiles etc. So after the consolidation you will not need to put the same details on the different Google products – a nice idea for organizing their data, and ease for users in signing in for new Google products. It’s only on Orkut where you can currently change your birth date, and after April 7, you would not be allowed to do it. So next time you make a Google account, take care of that bit.
