MTS crosses 10 million customers mark, gives HTC Pulse for free
Stop dreaming, it isn’t exactly all that free you are thinking of. MTS today announced that they have registered over 10 million customers – and on that good big milestone, they are giving HTC Pulse for … Rs. 1500 a month.
Now before you go mad on our title, it is free when you buy it, but you need to pay Rs. 1500 for the phone, and the data plan for at least the next 12 months – the way it works in U.S. of A if we would want to say it nicely. Rs. 1,500 also buys you free 1500 minutes of call, free 1500 SMS and a total of 1.5 GB of data usage, you will need that since this is an Android phone.
Considering the phones actual price in market is around Rs. 18,000, this deal doesn’t seem to be that bad – Rs. 1,500 for 12 months comes to Rs 18,000. This is CDMA by the way, you can’t put any SIM in here, besides that.. MTS seems to be having a good network almost everywhere.
P.S. MTS has also announced a new slogan – “A step ahead.”
