Acer has announced its new Tablet Iconia Tab A500 running Android (HoneyComb please?) with the “Acer UI 4.5″ over it and Verizon’s new 4G LTE. It is 10.1″ inch capacitive display, powered by a Tegra 2 beast inside, and a gyroscope. The tablet can output full 1080p over the HDMI port, Acer claims that this tablet positions perfectly for games. No words on the screen’s actual resolution, but expect it to be atleast 1280×800. No price or release dates, neither we know the Android version as said above – you will know as soon as we know.

HDMI out and Flash is awesome. This would actually be useful in situations that would require something close to an ultra portable laptop. Ipad is like an uncomfortable Itouch.
