• New Chrome, faster than previous versions, UI – a bit revamped

Check out the new Google Chrome 6.0.472.53, worthy again. It’s faster than its previous versions, adding little more functionality and the user interface seems nicely organized.

Quite many bugs are fixed, including the context menu selection, which many times slowed to open the link on the new tab. And the user interface is really fast. The two menu buttons on top right has been combined into one, in this stable version. So you get the options quite organized in the “one” menu. Navigation buttons aside the Omnibox has been colored and redesign to match the overall color.

A small earth icon replaces the “http://” on the address bar, while “https://” remains the same. The Javascript performance is faster than earlier. Moreover it’s running quite good on my Intel Atom based netbook (running Windows 7), quite better than previous version! To update your browser to the new version, open the “About” windows and hit the “Update.” Fresher? Want to try it? Just go to http://google.com/chrome/.
