What do you see in the above pic? Yes, you all got it right it’s HTC Sense UI. Flipping clock + weather animation has become a identification element of HTC Sense UI. It’s present on almost every HTC phone, let it be a android phone or a windows mobile or HTC Smart and may be on Windows Phone 7.
And now its available for Windows PC too! HTC Home 2.0 Alpha, a open source project is the one which can make your desktop sensible. HTC Home has exactly same behaviour as seen on phones – Can be added as a gadget on your PC desktop, the clock really flips, weather animations (yes, it thunders, rains, shines!).
See it live in action:
Let’s now peek into the settings of HTC Home. Under general settings you have options like starting application with Windows logon, toggle icon in notification area, Position and size of widget, and Appearance related settings (Aero-Glass, Weather Animation). Location tab lets you find out the weather information of your country/city.
System requirements:
- Windows Vista/7

It has been reported that it works even on XP! HTC Home consumes about 32 MB of RAM in our PC. Don’t expect it to be perfect as it’s a alpha version.
