Google gets the ICP license renewed in China
Week back, the ICP license of Google in China got a controversial issue, over the auto-redirection of the Google China site to Google Hong Kong site. Google now got its ICP license renewed.

Google was been warned, actually threatened by Chinese government that they would not renew Google’s ICP license in China, unless Google stops redirecting the Google.cn to Google Hong Kong website. Google, had to obey as they do not want Google to “go dark in China.” However, there’s no update from Google about the new approaches to Chinese government
The Google blog post has been updated today:
Update July 9:
We are very pleased that the government has renewed our ICP license and we look forward to continuing to provide web search and local products to our users in China.
