HTC’s first Windows Phone 7 – Mondrian

Leaked dump ROM of Windows Phone 7 points out to be dumped from HTC Mondrian.

Over Xda-developers, someone leaked a dump ROM of and HTC device, rumored to be Mondrian. The device is thus rumored to be the first HTC device running Windows Phone 7. We never had any news regarding HTC phone powered by WP7. Previously we saw Dell Lightning powered by WP7 with pictures and specs, which would be launching in Q4 of this year. It is believed that Dell Lightning will become the first phone powered by Windows Phone 7 OS.

Well, now with the dumped ROM of WP7, we can hope that some Xda guys would port it to HTC HD2. But it’s not that possible though, as the one leaked it says,

Keep in mind this “ROM” is NOT flashable to any of the current devices we know of. NONE. You also can’t dump this with the current tools we have at our disposal so, NO, we can not make WP7 ROMs based on this.
