Acer Chrome OS netbook might be introduced in Computex 2010
Reportedly, Acer may launch netbook/s with Google’s web-based operating system Google Chrome OS.

Venturebeat stated, reported that via multiple source they got the information that Acer would be launching netbooks powered by Google Chrome OS on the Computex Taipei 2010 event at Taipei, Taiwan which will be held on June 1 to June 5. The Acer netbooks with Chrome OS may be called as smartbooks, with ARM mobile processors.
The Google Chrome OS is designed for those who use computers, netbooks only for staying in the web network. But the Google Chrome OS may not be a good option as the existing cloud computing is not efficient for users. The Google Wave, which sets a good example of cloud computing is still under development. It may be in use after several months when Google Wave developers will succeed, optimizing it more and adding essential gadgets.
