Skyfire 2.0 Beta released, first for Android
The leading mobile browser company Skyfire Labs have just released Skyfire 2.0 Beta, for Android devices. Silverlight plugin is not included, but Flash is.
Skyfire 2.0 Beta has a complete new interface than seen on Skyfire 1.5. This time, they included speed-dial like home tab, instead of the cluttering news, tweets, and so. The browser supports playing flash videos. There are many changes in the new version. The best part is that Skyfire 2.0 Beta comes for almost all Android versions, starting from Android 1.5.
The below pictures are taken in Android 1.5. The right pic shows SmoothHD.com which demonstrates smooth HD videos in Silverlight player. But it’s not running as the plugin doesn’t exist, although it’s expected for future Skyfire 2.0 (Skyfire 1.5 have Flash, Silverlight, and Quicktime plugins.)
We’ll cover more about this browser in a review.
